• Winemaking and Cellars

Currently the winemaking process is under the direction of Mr. Hernán Amenabar, Agricultural Engineer and Winemaker, who is advised by Chilean winemaker, Álvaro Espinoza, renowned nationally and internationally.

Viña Undurraga has the most modern and efficient winemaking cellar, located in the Santa Ana Estate in Talagante, where its wines undergo fermentation, processing, aging, and bottling.

Grape selection, the slow press, computer-controlled presses that slide along rails to the temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation tanks, are just a few of the characteristics of this cellar, which has a capacity close to 20 million liters.  The cool antique underground cellars that date back to the winery’s founding days in the 19th century juxtapose against the new vinification plant with the latest technology.

With these attributes, in conjunction with the experienced winemaking team, Undurraga concentrates on a quality production designed to meet the needs of the most diverse palates around the world with its internationally recognized wines.
